Optimum Solutions Headlines the PeopleSoft 9.1 Special Events at the Oracle HCM Users Group Global Conference

Optimum Showcases the Ricoh Electronics PeopleSoft 9.1 Success Story to Sold-Out Audiences

SAN FRANCISCO, July 2010 — At this year’s Oracle HCM Users Group (OHUG) Global Conference, Optimum highlighted the highly successful Ricoh Electronics PeopleSoft 9.1 Success Story during an exclusive standing-room only PeopleSoft 9.1 Upgrade event and special PeopleSoft 9.1 Upgrade Panel discussion. Attendees were excited to learn directly from Ricoh and Optimum about the challenges, improvements and the keys to success for this very first deployment of PeopleSoft Enterprise 9.1.

In March 2010, Ricoh Electronics, a leading supplier of advanced office automation equipment and one of over 300 domestic and overseas companies that comprise Ricoh Company, Ltd., a $22 billion global corporation, became Oracle’s very first customer to deploy PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM 9.1. Beginning in September 2009, Ricoh worked closely with Optimum and Oracle’s PeopleSoft product strategy and development teams to begin its upgrade when the new PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM 9.1 solution was released, resulting in a go-live in only six months. In May 2010, Optimum assisted Ricoh to successfully deploy a fully integrated PeopleSoft Enterprise 9.1 Manager Self-Service (MSS) solution. Subsequently, Ricoh is benefiting from increased flexibility, more efficient business process execution and improved organizational effectiveness across all of its Enterprise Human Resources operations.
